From June 8-13 2027, Philip Stopford presents an international choral festival in London in partnership with Firebird Fine Arts Tours. One of the world’s most performed British choral composers, celebrating his 50th birthday in 2027, Stopford invites singers from around the globe to rehearse and perform his music in the spectacular St Albans Cathedral, the burial place of the first British martyr.
The Festival culminates in a concert performance of Philip’s ‘Missa Deus Nobiscum’ for choir and professional orchestra, alongside anthems In My Father’s House, Do Not Be Afraid and Lully Lulla Lullay.
Blending focused rehearsals with the cultural richness of London and St. Albans, the immersive experience offers a unique opportunity to perform great sacred choral music, directed by the composer in an ancient and magnificent space.
